It was an honour to be able to welcome my friend’s little boy into their family with this combo lifestyle and mini studio session in their Taupiri home. At just a week old, little Benjamin was a total star. He was so sleepy and content, and just loved to be cuddled up with his mummy. He wasn’t always quite so happy being tucked up on my beanbag, but the mummy and baby photos we got are some of my favourites from this session.
Benjamin's proud big brother was full of beans after waking up from a big sleep. He was fascinated by his little brother and obviously just adored him, although he wasn’t very interested in sitting still long enough to have photos with him! At about 20 months apart I’m sure these two will grow up the best of friends.
I was so excited to see how well the family had coordinated their outfits with nice neutral colours that looked amazing on their stunning master bed. It was the perfect setting for some family photos.
This gorgeous shawl was a gift from Benjamin's grandma. I love it when clients have something personal that they want to include in their photos.
Benjamin's big brother was a bit too energetic through most of the session to be able to hold his tiny little brother, but we got a few cute photos of him on his own in the meantime!
